It was the most beautiful accommodation we ever had in 26 years of RCI membership. Located in a wonderful, quiet forest, at 10 km from Salla town, Salla Holiday Club offers a lot of possibilities to enjoy the surroundings: ski, sleigh ride, Salla Wilderness Park. We chose 3 activities offered by the wilderness park: ice fishing, husky safari and reindeer safari. A unique experience with wonderful, warm people who are making evry effort to explain details about nature, wild life and living in the north. Arriving at the end of November , the ski slope was open so we also had this option to enjoy. After all activities we returned to a very comfortable 2 bedroom apartment with sauna and fireplace which we used every single day. Outside there is a cabin log with firewood and you can freely take from there every time you need to make the fire in the fireplace. It is unimaginable how comfortable it was. The pillows were very soft, one of the bedrooms was on the first floor, livingroom very spacious and the kitchen equipped with even more than everything you need. In the summer every apartment has 2 bicycles which you can use to visit the surroundings. Anyway, it is advised to have a car to fully enjoy the area. We rented a car from Rovaniemi, it is a 2 hour drive to Salla and the road, even it were -15 degree Celsius outside, was clean and safe to drive. Anyway the most of the road had 80 km/h speed limit. At the reception is a small supermarket, but in Salla we found 2 very large supermarket with everything you need.Thank you for this unique and wonderful experience.

Rauhallinen, viihtyisä lomakeskus, luonto lähellä. Ei bilettäjiä, paikka sopii rauhaa arvostaville ja lapsiperheille. Missään ei juuri tarvitse jonottaa, ei rinteillä, ravintoloissa tai kylpylässä. Kylpylässä siistiä ja rauhallista, sopii hyvin lapsiperheelle. Vedet lämpimiä, matala lastenallas. Mökin pienet puutteet korjattiin heti ilmoituksen jälkeen. Yleisesti palvelu hyvää ja asiallista. Kylältä löytyy kaikki tarvittavat palvelut, myös terveyspalvelut turisteille terveyskeskuksessa todettu toimivan. Tänne palaamme joka vuosi!

Very cool, albeit remote place. The people are all very nice. Highly recommend bringing your own skins if you want to go uphill. They don't rent this type of gear. Highlights were definitely the northern lights tour via snowmobile/sled and dog sledding. The snowmobiles are only worth it if you go in a very small group and not an introductory tour. Snowshoeing, biking, and skiing were all great as well. We booked breakfast and dinner as a meal plan, and that seemed well worth it.

Kylpylä on pieni, saunat ihan ok, ajaa kyl asiansa.
Mimmi kel on tummat pitkät hiukset respassa olit aivan ihana, asiakaspalvelun kokemus ja iloisuutesi tarttui ja kirkasti hieman harmaankin päivän, siulta voisi monikin respan mimmi käydä ottamassa mallia iso KIITOS❤️
Kanava tarjonta telkkarissa luokattoman huono, yle tv1, yle tv2, mtv3, yle teema & fem ja nelonen, eletään vuotta 2024 ja Holiday clubin asunnoissa näkyy vain 5kanavaa,.🤬
Siivouksen taso näkyy kuvista, ei o just vaivauduttu kumertelemaan sohvan
alle...😬

We had a great time in the Holiday Club Salla resort.||The scene is magical. There is walking trail around the resort. There is also a ski slope behind the resort.||The resort is 150km from the Santa Claus Village, so we rented a car and travel between these two places||Close to the resort is a Salla city, where we bought all the food and necessities.

Hotellissa en käynyt, vain kylpylässä. Kylpylä pieni, siisti. Sauna usein liian kuuma ja kuiva. Löytyy uintiallas, poreet ja hieronnat. Taaperoille oma n. 30cm? syvä allas
