Testade falafelbitarna till förrätt och de var riktigt goda, kanske inte värdens mest spännande tillbehör men absolut prisvärda.

Däremot så var beef felt kebab inte alls värd sitt pris på 345:-. Köttet var ok, men även här var tillbehören extremt tråkiga. Det var en kvarting Icas libabröd med någon tomatsås, lite halvfärdiga pommes, en rostad chili, en rostad tomat, en lökhalva som var mer rå än rostad samt lite sallad.

Såg efteråt att det skulle vara hummus eller moutabal till men den missades nog eller var ersatta av den lite trista potatisen.

Till maten fick man även en bunt köpt libabröd.

Lokalen och personalen är dock super.
Jag tänker nog testa igen, men då blir det mer de klassiska libanesiska kalla rätterna.

I highly recommend a visit to Le Cedre. I have been twice now and can recommend the mezze plates. First visit, I ordered a few mezze plates (2-3 per person should be enough). The second time, my husband and I split the full mezze tasting dinner with entrée. Every single mezze plate was a winner. Many dishes have lemon, which is a flavor I enjoy. We couldn't finish the entire meal, so my recommendation is to get the mezze tasting menu without the entrée for groups looking for a more realistic amount of food. Also, the meats from the entrées were actually our least favorite out of the entire meal.

The only feedback I have is more of a recommendation to the chef: remove the plain baked potatoes from the grilled entrée plate and instead just move the lemon potatoes to the grilled plate. There is no need for 2 types of potatoes, and since we had so much food, we didn't need the extra potatoes anyway.

Looking forward to a return visit.

Happy to see a descent restaurant with a good atmosphere opening in Älmhult. We loved the ‘Mezza’s’; pastries, aubergine and best falafel ever; Crispy on the outside, soft inside. The Mezza’s also included a good selection of vegetarian option, contrary to the main dishes, which grabbed us a bit less. I’d voice for a bit more gentle wine pricing. 110SEK for ‘house wine’ is a bit too much in my pov Would be great to see the menu online, make the reservation process a bit smoother and offer to settle the bill at the table. Paying at the bar might be simpler for you, but I don’t appreciate to line up there after a good meal. Anyhow, can recommend and will come back for sure!
